Gym
The Viridian City Gym is the final gym of the Kanto region. This gym is accessible only after obtaining all 15 badges and meeting Blue on Cinnabar Island. In the gym, you need to partake in a maze using travel tiles until you reach the Gym Leader; Blue. Earning the Earth Badge allows you to use HM08; Rock Climb outside of battle

Viridian Forest is a rather large forest located in Route 2. It is filled with Bug-type Pokémon and trainers who specialise in the Pokémon.

Gym
The Pewter City Gym is one of the gyms of the Kanto region. This gym follows a fairly linear path up to the Gym Leader with trainers located on the path. These trainers can be bypassed through a side-path until you reach the Gym Leader; Brock. Earning the Boulder Badge does not give access to any hidden moves outside of battle.

Mt. Moon is a cave reduced in size and is essentially just a straight path. However, it now has a summit, known as Mt. Moon Square, where a shop and a lake is. On Monday nights, when at the lake, the moon shall reflect in it and various Clefairy will come and dance, giving you a Moonstone

Gym
The Cerulean City Gym is one of the gyms of the Kanto region. This gym is properly activated only after encountering Misty on Route 25 and retrieving the Machine Part hidden in the gym by a Team Rocket Member. Inside the gym is a swimming pool you need to navigate with Surf or you can walk around until you reach the Gym Leader; Misty. Earning the Cascade Badge does not give access to any hidden moves outside of battle.

Gym
The Vermilion City Gym is one of the gyms of the Kanto region. This gym has you activate various switches within bins to try and get to the end, but the location of the switches changes. The second switch is always located next to the first one until you reach the Gym Leader; Lt. Surge. Earning the Boulder Badge does not give access to any hidden moves outside of battle. Go back to Route 6 to head for Saffron City.

SS Aqua is a boat which connects Olivine City in Johto to Vermillion City in Kanto. It can only be accessed with the SS Ticket and can be travelled upon again from Olivine on Mondays & Fridays and from Vermillion on Sundays & Wednesdays. The captain of the ship will give you a different plate on each journey. The trainers upon the boat also change on each journey. (Only accessible after you beat Kanto's Elite 4)

Lavender Town is a town located on the eastern part of Kanto. This town has changed a lot over time and has a cemetary for deceased Pokémon in a house.

Name Rater
Located within this town is the Name Rater who will aid in the changing of the names of the Pokémon you have caught

Radio Tower
Also in this town is the Radio Tower of Kanto. This Radio Tower is blocked off after the incident in the Radio Tower of Johto but you are given the Expansion Card for the PokéGear here

Saffron City is the largest city within Kanto. This city has numerous buildings for you to discover including the Copycat's house where you can help her retrieve her lost item and get access to the Magnet Train which brings direct access to Johto. Silph Co. is located right in the centre of this city. Can't go to Goldenrod City until after you beat Kanto's Elite 4.

Fighting Dojo
Next to the gym is the Fighting Dojo. When you receive the phone numbers for Gym Leaders and call them in specific times, you can organise a rematch. They will appear in this building to be rebattled.

Gym
The Saffron City Gym is one of the gyms of the Kanto region. This gym has you go through multiple rooms, using teleport tiles to progress to the next room until you reach the Gym Leader; Sabrina. Earning the Marsh Badge does not give access to any hidden moves outside of battle.

Gym
The Celadon City Gym is one of the gyms of the Kanto region. This gym has you progress through a maze through numerous flower arches, sometimes needing to use Cut until you reach the Gym Leader; Erika. Earning the Rainbow Badge does not give access to any hidden moves outside of battle.

Gym
The Fuchsia City Gym is one of the gyms of the Kanto region. This gym has you go through a maze with hidden walls until you reach the Gym Leader; Janine. Earning the Soul Badge does not give access to any hidden moves outside of battle.

Encounter some Dragon-type Pokèmon, that is normally rare to run into, here.

Victory Road is the cave that connects to the Indigo Plateau. This cave has multiple floors and is filled with wild Pokémon, but lacks trainers supposedly due to your rival defeating them all. Can only come here once you get all Eight Badges.
